Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account info: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, which means we never see or store your password in plain text).

Profile info you choose to add: username, display name, bio, and profile photo.

Activity you create: ratings, written reviews, watch dates, likes, follows, watchlist entries, favorites, lists ("Chapters"), who you tag as watched-with on an entry, and @mentions in your reviews and bio.

YouTube metadata: titles, thumbnails, channel names, and other publicly available information about the videos and channels you interact with, sourced from YouTube.

What we don't collect

We don't run analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't sell your data to anyone.

How we use it

To run the app: showing your profile, ratings, and activity to the right people, powering search and recommendations, and sending you account-related emails (password resets, security notices).

Anything you mark public (your ratings, reviews, lists, and, unless you've limited it in Settings, your followers/following lists) is visible to other users of the app. Your ratings average and counts are always visible even if the underlying activity is limited.

Blocking and reporting

If you block someone, that block is private. The other person isn't notified, and can't tell from the app that they've been blocked. If you report a review, a profile, or other content, that report (including any details you add) is stored so it can be reviewed.

Third parties

We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage (like profile photos). We use publicly available YouTube data to enrich video and channel pages. Neither is used for advertising.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your ratings, reviews, and lists at any time. You can limit who sees your followers/following lists in Settings. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your profile, ratings, reviews, lists, and watchlist, and can't be undone.

Children

This app isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
